Northern Arizona Healthcare is currently seeking a Worker's Compensation/Case Management RN to join our team. This Flagstaff- based position will provide case management aimed at injury prevention, early intervention, return to work and assistance to recovery and facilitating the return of the ill/injured persons to a productive lifestyle in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner. Responsibilities providing education, behavioral change counseling and instruction that has been individualized for people of all ages and that incorporates cultural preferences, health belief and preferred learning styles. The Case Manager will develop plans of care that have identifiable outcomes as well as implementation plans and goals that are measurable, realistic and individualized. He/she will participate in program development, data analysis and will act as a liaison with medical providers, leadership, employees and NAH’s Worker's Compensation carrier. The incumbent in this position must possess strong critical thinking skills, creativity, innovation, a willingness to discover new solutions and approaches to promoting employee health.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications :
Graduate from accredited School of Nursing Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Strong proven experience in Worker's Compensation Strong advocacy skills Current AZ RN License BLS
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's Degree in related discipline Knowledge of work related experience in topics such as chronic disease/disease management Certification in Case Management such as COHN-S or COHN-Case Management
