Position Profile Provides orientation, education, training, and competency development for staff based on employee/agency needs. This position is responsible for development, and implementation of educational programs for staff, and the community, and serves as a clinical resource for direct patient care staff.
Responsibilities § Presents HOV clinical orientation. § Serves as expert clinical resource support. § Provides clinical education and presentations to internal and external audiences. § Provides quality continuing education § Maintains professional knowledge and enhances professional skills. § Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.
Minimum Qualifications § Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing. § Minimum five years hospice nursing experience. § Current Arizona RN license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications § MSN or MEd preferred. § One-year adult teaching experience preferred. § Med/surg or related hospital nursing experience preferred. § CHPN highly preferred.
