Seeking an individual to assume a key, hands-on, Business Systems Analyst role in the implementation and ongoing support of process control systems Based in Tucson Arizona, Our Client employs 8000+ people and! has an annual budget of approximately $1.5 billion. The successful candidate will have a mix of project implementation, business analysis and development skills.
Responsibilities may include:
Meeting with customers, understanding the customer’s business, development of business requirements, understanding and maintaining existing client applications and planning, leading or participating on implementation teams for new applications.
Required Education and Experience: EITHER:
(1) A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, university or technical trade school with a major in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems (MIS), or a closely related field as determined by the appointing authority at the time of recruitment, and four years work experience in software development and maintenance.
OR:
(2) An Associate’s degree from an accredited college, university or technical trade school computer science, computer engineerin! g, management information systems (MIS), or a closely related field as determined by the appointing authority at the time of recruitment, and six years work experience in IT software development and maintenance.
Additional relevant work experience and/or education from an accredited college, university or technical trade school may be substituted.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 or more years, in the last 5 years, hands on experience supporting customers and applications by performing any of the following:
- Gathering and documenting business/system requirements based on the needs of a customer
- Analysis of current business processes, development and documentation of new business processes, gaining acceptance of the new or modified business process by the customer
- Maintenance of existing software applications and development of new applications using open system skills (e.g. Java, Scripting, HTML, .Net, SQL)
- Repo! rt development skills (e.g. Crystal Reports, Business Objects)
- Planning and leading teams responsible for the implementation of packaged software in a business environment
