Description: Tempe St. Luke's Hospital, LP is at present looking to employ Registered Nurse - Med-Surg - ADOC - Clinical Coordinator right now, this occupation will be placed in Arizona. indirect patient care on 2nd floor which is the AZ Department of! Corrections unit which
provides a broad range of Med-Surg and medical Telemetry nursing care to
ADOC patients. This unit is a locked, secure unit, with a highly
visible ADOC Officers presence. Provides direct and indirect patient
care to the 3rd floor which provides medical Telemetry and a broad range
of Med/Surg care to the general public.
Supervises RN's, LPNs, CNAs, PCTs, and unit secretaries.
Assists Manager with coordination/ monitoring / evaluation of unit staff and activities - education, evaluations, hiring, performance improvement, policies and procedures, scheduling, counseling, disciplinary process, day to day operations of the unit.
Must have strong leadership and communication skills, customer service skills.
This position is full time with full benefits.
Hours, shift, and schedule may vary but is set up as a full time day position.
AZ Licensure or current compact state license with mult! i-state priviledges - active & in good standing.
BLS;! ACLS - current.
ADN from an accredited college of nursing.
BSN highly preferred.
Previous RN Telemetry or Med-Surg Charge nurse, clinical supervisor, or clinical clinical coordinator experience in an acute care hospital; prefer at least 3 years.
Strong computer charting skills and other healthcare healthcare applications / programs.
Prefer at least 3 years RN Med-Surg experience and at least 2 years of RN Telemetry experience in addition to supervisor experience. Some prior MICU / SICU experience is a plus.
Expect high level of proficiency with Medicare Core Measures, HCAHPS, and process improvement.
