Reporting to the Director of Marketing, we are searching for a Marketing Data Analyst in our fitness certification and education unit â€" the National Academy of Sports Medicine (www.nasm.org). The Marketing Data Analyst will be primarily responsible for producing analytic insights that inform and influence marketing strategies across the business.
Provide marketing analytics to support consumer marketing, acquisition, retention, and feedback/perception programs. Devise quick and innovative improvements to help meet growth and profitability goals.
Create reporting for key company business metrics to track business performance, measure progress against goals, and inform decision making.
Provide business analysis function and serve as expert data advisor for company business leaders.
Suggest and employ appropriat! e analytic techniques, conduct complex analysis, and distill d! ata into competitive insights to be applied to marketing efforts.
Minimum Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Statistics or related field.
Experience researching, analyzing and leveraging data from a wide range of internal and external resources.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Proven experience in conducting analytical support for marketing performance and/or key performance indicators.
Experience with Access and Excel. Experience with Business Intelligence tools a plus. Experience extracting data from multiple data sets and turning that data into information and learning and execution.
Strong oral and written communication skills with experience and passion in visualizing analytics in a simple and actionable way.
Self-starter that can work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with emphasis on quality and accuracy.
