Overview: The Manager Clinical Operations is accountable for the daily management of the operating room including staffing, same day! scheduling, Specialty Service lines, quality improvement program, risk management, safety, and infection control. Operational and fiscal efficiencies of Perioperative services while promoting efficient, safe and optimum quality of perioperative patient care.
Special Skills: Computer literate, effective communication skill and ability to perform conflict resolution during difficult. Supervises clinical and non-clinical staff members providing direct and indirect patient care.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. 3 years of progressive management / supervisory experience in the perioperative practice setting. Graduate of accredited school of nursing and current license as registered nurse in the State of Arizona. BSN is required for the position.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's prepared. 5 years of solid clinical experience in the perioperative setting preferably in trauma, ! and/ or other specialty service line including orthopedics and! neurosurgery. He/ she has 5 years progressive management experience in perioperative arena with working knowledge of regulatory requirements and AORN /ASPAN standards. BLS, ACLS, CNOR; membership in Association of Operating Nursing or Post Anesthesia Care
Nurses preferred.
