Position Summary

Directs and oversees a wide variety of duties and administrative personnel to maintain the efficient day-to-day administrative functions of a district office.

Responsibilities:
Oversees a variety of staff functions. Maintains an effective working relationship with all levels of district management team members as well as providing leadership and guidance to district office administrative support team members.

Delivers the highest level of customer service to SimplexGrinnell customers.

Assigns administrative support personnel to manage the I.T., telecommunications, safety and wellness programs.

Responsible for overall district office policies regarding collections of overdue/delinquent custom! er accounts. May work with legal counsel or outside collection! s agencies or Corporate Finance to handle overdue accounts.

Leads and directs the works of others to include administrative functions such as AP/AR/data and contract entry.

Act as a liaison between corporate service centers and the district office resolving various personnel and/or payroll related issues.

Act as a liaison between corporate service centers and the district office resolving customer contract and service issues.

Reviews work flow and may reassign responsibilities based on anticipated workloads in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsible for district office orientation and training of new hires as well as overseeing labor relations, compensation, benefits, and employee services.

District Fleet; new unit ordering, repair requests, accident reporting, etc.

Overview responsibility for Safety, OSHA EHS.

Cost control/reduction activities: offices supplies, office equipment lease! s, maintenance services, cell phones, etc.

All Human Resource activities: new hire paperwork, orientation, requisitions, offer letters, background checks, promotions, PAF's, policy communication, payroll timesheets, training initiatives, etc.

Sarbanes Oxley audit compliance coordination.

District event planning.

Coordination of administration team schedules/activities.

Assist management team with manpower planning, training, licensing, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.

5-10 years experience in an Office Manager's position or equivalent, strong administrative background, financial background a plus.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with management and team members.

Ability to handle/balance multiple projects/tasks and respond to district management's needs and challenges.
Must be literate in the use of the on-line systems and personal comp! uters including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other software packages as required.

Internally motivated and driven, self-disciplined, able to work in a team environment. Desire to maintain high ethical standards.

Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
