Description: St. Luke's Medical Center is presently looking of Registered Nurse - Market Pool - Phoenix metro right now, this vacancy will be placed in Arizona. Must work at all three hospitals ( SLMC â€" Phoenix , T! SL â€" Tempe , and MVMC â€" Mesa). Minimum of 12 hours per week. Minimum of 24 hours of weekend shifts per month.
Weekends are defined as Fri, Sat, and Sun. Must work throughout 3 clinical departments and all IASIS facilites noted. Provides direct patient care in the acute care setting. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including: patient monitoring and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Performs general nursing duties in assigned departments and facilities with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement activities as requested.
3+ years of RN acute care hospital experience in ICU, CVICU, Tele, ER, Medâ€"Surg; in a combination of 2 clinical areas. Experience in Ortho, Pain Management, PACU, and Cath Lab will also be considered. Required: Active Ar! izona RN license in good standing. Per nursing unit requiremen! ts: BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP.
Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred. Proficient in computer charting.
