Our little girl is now 11 months old, and mom has returned to work. We kind of forgot that we had a subscription for this website, but over time have realized that we do need a back up sitter!
Baby! girl is enrolled in daycare now; however, we are in need of a trustworthy and caring sitter that can serve as a stand-by (ON CALL) provider for those days when baby might not be able to go in to daycare (maybe because she is sick or has a fever, or any other reason that may prevent her from going to daycare).
The general hours would be during normal business hours: from 8am until 5pm during the week Monday - Friday.
Depending on the sitter, we may be open to having you babysit in your home if that is your preference, or having you babysit in our home. That's something we can discuss once we start the conversation. : )
General responsibilities would include: diaper changes, bottle feedings (baby is currently nursing with mom, but also taking bottles of mom's pumped milk), and if baby is ill, giving her scheduled doses of medication if necessary AND extra TLC since she probably would not be in day care because she is feeling icky.
Essentially, we are looking for a sitter on call as our ! contingency plan.
We may also use this sitter for those nights that mom and dad would like to go out and enjoy an evening alone going to the movies or having a nice dinner, but this is not an absolute requirement, just a "nice-to-have" for us.
