How You’ll Make an Impact:
Creative Development- 75%:
- Create original, innovative and emotional art that is brand appropriate
- Employ graphic techniques: bringing innovation, trend and execution ability to designs from concept to execution
- Apply strong use of illustration/typography, utilizing a variety of color, techniques and layout.
- Develop gender and age specific art that displays originality in graphics with little direction from manager
- Create artwork with strong adoption rate internally and with external customer Prepare and maintain inspiration/trend boards at the beginning of each season.
Creative Process/Calendar & Cross-functional Collaboration - 25%:
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and follow through on all projects
- Understand and follow all established procedures within Art Department
- Attend creative, hindsight and sample review meetings to provide suggestions for best execution and problem solving for best results
- Work closely with cross functional teams to produce artwork that is cost effective and meets company targets
- Initiate process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce complexity
- Accuracy in executing artwork and art procedures
- Communicate all updates with management and follow through with team
- Partner with legal to ensure artwork has been approved for use
- May have direct report(s) or some management experience
We’d Love to Hear from You if:
Must Have:
- Possess strong working knowledge of Illustrator & Photoshop
- Possess strong communication skills, display a high level of professionalism with team members, and positive attitude
- Strong knowledge of color and trends
- Strong color and layout skills
- 5+ years industry experience
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Display organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of techniques and materials for graphics
- Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task and remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
