Role Summary
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse or team leader, provides general nursing care ! to patients. Attends to the general healthcare and comfort of the patient. Observes and records treatment and patient progress and reports to supervisor patient's condition or reaction. Administers prescribed medications. Must be licensed or hold a temporary permit to practice. Must have completed a course in pharmacology. .
Responsibilities
Perform all duties within the scope of practice for an LPN
Prepare patients for appointments/exams with appropriate vital signs and pertinent data on medical record, assess patients’ needs, and assist with special procedures
Track and monitor diagnostic test results and assist physicians with communication to patients.
Keep exam rooms well stocked and up to all regulatory and CIGNA standards.
IV/venipuncture certificate, or willing to obtain.
Liaison to physician for telephone calls/messages, etc. to promote problem solving. Take responsibility for resolving customer conce! rns/issues.
Teamwork â€" coordinate with other RNs, L! PNs, and MAs to complete work in a timely manner, satisfy patients, and maintain steady work flow
Accurate and timely completion of electronic health record documentation including charge, and reports statistics.
Flexibility and willingness to work in a variety of situations.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Current Unrestricted Arizona LPN License
Current BCLS certification
A minimum of 2 years LPN exp preferred
Back office experience a plus
Computer experience
Excellent customer service, verbal, written, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational skills
Must be adaptable and flexible
Hours: Day shift; Mon-Fri
