Our hospital provides individualized care directed to the specific needs of each patient. and our center offers 20-bed critical care unit, skilled nursing unit, progressive care unit, medical and surgical units, family birthplace center, and a 24-hour emergency department. Other services include a diagnostic imaging department, company care (a worker's compensation program), and an outpatient rehabilitation facility.
ER NURSES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
We are seeking an ! experienced Registered Nurse - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT. We are offering 3 day 12 Hrs Shifts Days or Night shift available.
Must have valid Arizona RN license or Compact State license, 2 years ER nursing, EMT, Paramedic or ED Tech experience required; BLS required on hire; ACLS, PALS and Moderate Sedation required within 6 months of hire; Hemodynamic Monitoring and 12 lead EKG preferred within 6 months of hire; Trauma Course preferred within 12 months of hire.
Emergency Department RN responsibilities include:
Assesses, plans and evaluates patient care needs.
Prioritizes patient care based on acuity level and available resources.
Carries out physician orders.
Assists physician during examination, treatment and procedures.
Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs.
Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well coordinated patient care.
Instructs and educates patients and families.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Provides age and culturally appropriate care.
Orients and mentors new staff members.
Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required
