Looking for a change of scenery? We seek a Registered Nurse with five (5) or more years clinical nursing experience relevant to the caseload coupled with demonstrated knowledge of utilization management for the role of Manager of Clinical Resource Management. In this role you will be responsible for managing and coordin! ating the activities of the Clinical Resource Management staff! at the hospital. You will manage personnel involved in case management and psycho-social elements of the program. In addition to case manager accountabilities, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining case management/social service schedules, overseeing the department orientation process, serving as a central point of contact for department staff, and identifying and communicating observations and concerns to improve the case management process. You will coordinate, manage, and integrate the activities of the Clinical Resource Management Program. You will regularly disseminate program updates and information to medical staff, case managers, social workers and the interdisciplinary team. You will proactively interface with third party payers in problem solving.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Arizona (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Preference given to candidates wi! th a Bachelors degree in Nursing. Must have five (5) or more years clinical nursing experience relevant to the caseload coupled with demonstrated knowledge of utilization management. Must have at least one (1) years of supervisory experience. Must have experience with Interqual 2012. Experience with EPIC (EMR) preferred.
