The Education Consultant -Clinical is responsible for providing orientation and clinical and didactic instruction to nursing and non-nursing personnel. Plans, delivers and evaluates general nursing orientation. Plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates staff development programs for assigned units or departments. Acts as a liaison and facilitator between clinical directors and the Organizational Development department. Coordinates development and/or revision of education materials. Provides leadership and cooperative support in developing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Organizational Development department. Facilitates organizational or unit planning, as requested. Coordinates student clinical experiences. Maintains clinical contracts. Acts as a liaison to the academic community.

3. Se! rves on Lincoln committees and assumes responsibility for disseminating and communicating information to staff.
4. Provides consulting services to assigned areas.
5. Ensures that the educational needs of staff are identified, planned for and met, including provision of consultation to assigned staff and units.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s in Nursing
- 2-3 years as a clinical educator at the bedside or in the classroom.
- RN licensure- ED RN/ED Educator experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office; Outlook
- AHA16*
