Description: Yuma Regional Medical Center is currently seeking to employ Social Worker I right now, this position will be placed in Arizona. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. Provide psychosocial assessments and treatment recommendations, as well as discharge planning to and consultation about patients and families to assist them and the health care team in coping ! with patient's hospitalization, illness, diagnosis, treatment, and/or life situation, including emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Facilitates transfers to other acute care hospital settings or skilled nursing facilities.
Job Description-Education
Master’s Degree in Social Work. Education Preferred: Social Work with Health care setting Educational Track. CMSW or CISW Certification by Arizona Department of Health Services.
Job Description -Experience
Medical setting field practicum experience (internship). Computer proficiency (must be able to pass computer proficiency assessment). Experience Preferred: 1 year of Social Work experience. Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record or similar electronic record systems.
YRMC will accept equivalent combination of education and experience.
