We are seeking a candidate with previous supervisory or management experience, proven leadership skills and effective communication. Qualified candidates will have skills in coaching and mentoring, leading people to achieve results, and ability to execute strategies to achieve team goals.
Responsibilities:
Directly supervising 8 to 12 employees in the Enrollment department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Developing strategies to increase opp! ortunities for Counselors to educate and guide students throug! h the enrollment process
Coaching and developing Counselors to increase motivation, improve skills and achieve results
Executing on strategies to enhance results within the assigned GCU program or territory
Managing internal metrics for performance tracking and providing weekly coaching to enhance individual Counselor performance
Providing weekly reporting and projections for management
Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (required) and at least 2 years of management experience
Minimum of 6 months Enrollment experience in an educational setting
Experience supervising a team (preferred)
Self-direction and intrinsic passion for student success and employee development
Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
Innovative; ability to develop new strategies to m! aximize team and Counselor effectiveness
Solid computer skills using Microsoft products as well as proprietary software
