As RN Clinica! l Supervisor you will:
Supervise all patient care prov! ided. This supervision includes direct and indirect monitoring of professional staff interactions with patients, families, and physicians
Provides instruction, functions as a clinical knowledge resource when needed with staff and home care patients.
Orients new staff to the field. Coordinates ongoing in-service training programs.
Visits patients as needed to: Instruct home health care staff regarding a specialized skill, assist with problem cases, supervise staff, assist when the caseload requires
Takes administrative "on-call" in rotation

Qualifications:
Licensed to practice as a registered nurse
Have at least three years of nursing experience, which includes 2 years in home health care
Have sufficient background knowledge and expertise in clinical decision-making for the patient population assigned to him/her in the home health agency to! meet the needs of his/her patients and to contribute to Performance Improvement review and evaluation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Must have visual and hearing acuity. Must be able to communicate clearly verbally. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. May be exposed to minor hazards/communicable diseases. Physically active walking, standing, bending, lifting, and climbing stairs. Must be able to perform fully assisted transfers, with or without transfer devices. Must not have any back lifting/moving restrictions. Must provide proof of automobile insurance upon hire and at each renewal and maintain a safe driving record.
