Unit Coordinator

Description: Kingman Regional Medical Center is currently seeking to employ Unit Coordinator right now, this occupation will be placed in Arizona. More details about this occupation opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Requisitions supplies, equipment and repair service as directed. Supports and adheres to hospital and nursing service policies and procedures. Runs errands when necessary, notifies! appropriate departments of patient disposition, prepares appropriate chart forms, routes patient records, updates patient census, confirms diet orders, transcribes physician orders, orders tests, diets, etc. correctly on computer, schedules appointments and consultations, makes entries onto Kardex, takes and relays messages to personnel in unit, activates paging system, and maintains good employee relations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective and courteous telephone skills. Basic computer knowledge. High school graduate or GED.
Prefer NAHUC class four months and minimum six months of previous health unit coordinator experience. Ability to lift 30 pounds and have ability to sit for extended periods of time.
