Post by Jobing - Department: Psych Nursing Admin Schedule: Part Time Shift: Days Hours: Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, this position assumes Nursing Lea! dership for Psychiatric Services with regard to admission of patients, staffing of units, and assist in assessment of walkâ€"in patients. Performs administrative duties and supervises daily operational functions of the nursing office and the inpatient units. Qualifications: Requires a BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing; or an equivalent combination of training and five (5) years progressively responsible experience as a RN and certification in a related nursing field that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work. Masters degree is preferred.
Requires five (5) years progressively responsible experience as a RN. Prefer three (3) years acute psychiatric nursing and one (1) year experience in a supervisory or management role. Must posses a current, valid Arizona RN license and be in good standing with the AZ Board of Nursing. Must have current BLS and CPI certification.
Requires the ability to re! ad, write and speak effectively in English. Ability to work wi! th culturally diverse people is a must. Bilingual is preferred. Must have excellent communication, time management and customer service skills.
Computer knowledge with DOS and windows based systems is a plus.
