These are two separate positions - The Housekeeper will clean common areas, apartments, and hallways as well as other general cleaning assignments. The Floor Technician will be responsible for cleaning carpets and other flooring and making minor repairs to flooring.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing general cleaning assignments in apartments, hallways, and common areas
- Cleaning floors! and shampooing carpets
- Preparing apartments for move-in as assigned
- Participating in annual cleaning schedules
- Utilizing cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines
- Informing supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience
- Must be able to work without supervision
- Must be a self starter and a team player
- Must be able to professionally represent Brookdale Senior Living
- Must have flexibility with schedule and be available to work when needed (Houskeeper is a day shift position which may include weekends)
- For Floor Technician - Must have experience with floor cleaning equipment
