The Nursing Home Administrator / NHA will be responsible for the overall management of the facility.! The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for planning and directing the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with corporate and state standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Nursing Home Administrator / NHA
- Ensures the quality and appropriateness of resident / patient care meets or exceeds corporate and regulatory standards.
- Ensures compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, accreditation and reimbursement guidelines and standards.
- Prepares annual budget for facility. Monitors monthly performance of facility in relation to budget and intervenes as needed.
- Recruits, hires, provides orientation/training, and retains a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out facility programs and services. Ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis.
- Makes sure facility is a safe, clean, comfortable, and appealing! environment for residents, patients, visitors and staff in ac! cordance with corporate guidelines.
- Ensures all required records are maintained and submitted, as appropriate, in an accurate and timely manner.
- Completes required forms and documents in accordance with corporate policy and state and/or federal regulations.
- Manages all aspects of state or federal government survey processes.

- Active Licensed Nursing Home Administrators License in good standing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to propel a resident in a wheelchair.
- Must be able to move items at least 15 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents in evacuating the building in an emergency.
- Must have the ability to manipulate the computer, charts, forms etc., writing, calculation or other instruments to carry out responsibilities of the position.

- Active Licensed Nursing Home Administrators License in good standing.
