Tasks
- Design, implement & maintain scalable solutions on AWS.
- Work closely with development teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet those requirements.
- Create Infrastructure as Code with tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, GitLab, CI/CD.
- Ensure secure cloud infrastructure by following cloud security best practices.
- Collaborate with large enterprise customers to fulfill their IT requirements.
- Support product releases and deployments to customers.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to optimize and improve it.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Manage and maintain AWS services such as EC2 instances, RDS databases, Elastic Load Balancers, and Auto Scaling Groups.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices and provide guidance to the team.
- Participate in an on-call rotation within german office hours to provide timely support for critical issues.
- Permanent residence and work permit in Germany
- German or English language, at least C1 level
- Multiple years of experience in AWS and its various services.
- Ability to design and implement cloud-based solutions.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of automation tools and Infrastructure as Code.
- Understanding of networking principles and security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
